• What types of injections can you help with?

I provide support for both subcutaneous (under the skin) and intramuscular (into the muscle) injections, commonly used in fertility treatments such as ovulation induction, IUI, and IVF. This includes medications like Gonal-F, Menopur, Cetrotide, Ovidrel, and progesterone in oil, among others.

  • What if I experience side effects or problems with my injections?

If you experience any side effects or concerns related to your injections, it’s important to contact your fertility clinic or Reproductive Endocrinologist (REI) right away.

If you notice any serious signs or symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, difficulty breathing, chest pain, swelling, or sudden severe allergic reactions, please seek emergency medical care immediately by visiting the ER.

During our sessions, I’ll also provide you with tips on how to manage common side effects and injection site reactions. While I’m here to support you, I’m not a substitute for medical care, so please reach out to your healthcare team for any urgent or serious issues.

  • Can you administer the injections for me?

Yes! I offer in clinic and in home injection support where I can administer the medications for you or guide you through the process to help you feel confident doing it yourself. If you choose an in-person session or personalized at-home service, we will review your treatment protocol in detail prior to any medication administration to ensure everything is done safely and accurately.

Please note: patients are responsible for providing all medications and necessary supplies as dispensed by their fertility clinic.

  • How do I get started?

You can get started by visiting the Acutoronto website and clicking “Book Now” to explore each service and read detailed descriptions of what’s offered.

If you have any questions or would prefer to talk things through first, feel free to email me at phoebe@acutoronto.com. We can schedule a call to review your fertility protocol, discuss your needs, and decide on the best way I can support you.

  • Is this service covered by OHIP or insurance?

Unfortunately, this service is not covered by OHIP.

Many extended health benefit plans cover nursing services—it's best to check with your provider. We are happy to provide an invoice you can submit for reimbursement.

  • Can you give me medical advice?

I do not provide medical advice or make changes to your treatment plan. My role is not to override or replace the clinical guidance provided by your Reproductive Endocrinologist (REI) or fertility clinic team. Instead, I’m here to offer supportive care—helping you understand your protocol, feel confident with your medications, and navigate the process with reassurance and clarity.
