Although the process that ends in ovulation goes on daily, there are only a few days in which conception is possible each month.
A good foundation of basic fertility knowledge could be the difference between conception this month of not. There are many basic fertility issues we’ll discuss in this workshop, like:
- How do I know when and if I’m ovulating?
- What are the various methods of predicting ovulation? What methods are best for me?
- Do I need to track my Basal Body Temperature (BBT)? How do I get the most from tracking BBT?
- Do I need an Ovulation Predictor Kit (OPK)?
- When is the right time to have intercourse to maximize the possibility of conception?
- Do I need to be “tested” for infertility? What initial infertility testing should I have done and when should I have it done?

When you have a solid foundation in the basics of conception, you will get much more out of the short visits you have with your physician. Your questions will be more focused. Your physician will spend less time on introductory education and more time on what’s important. You’ll get more out of what your physician tells you. You’ll be less confused.
